I’m so excited to announce that I will be presenting an event at this year’s Global Entrepreneurship Week in Kansas City. The theme of my event will be focused on “surviving as a creative”. It’s no secret that the past 18 months has been hard for everyone, and Creatives have definitely been no exception that.
So, with this event, I’ll be sharing my experiences as a creative in the pandemic, and lessons making it through. Hopefully this will give some inspiration to what you could do to help weather the next time businesses, like ours, takes a hit.
Whether you’re a visual or performing artist, a creative in Marketing that freelances, this is something definitely geared for you.
This year, given the pandemic, the organizers of GEWKC are having presenters responsible for sourcing their own venues for their events. With that in mind, a BIG THANK YOU to the folks over at City Barrel for agreeing to host my session. Love the staff, and business as a whole, here, so when it came to potentially bringing in guests, City Barrel was definitely top of that list.
