For a second time, I had the great pleasure of creating a t-shirt design for Children’s Mercy Hospital, specifically for their SORE Team. This team helps with hospital acquired pressure injuries (bedsores) and general skin issues. These are bedside nurses, physicians and other allied health who help support the Wound Care team.
Both the first and this time, the idea was to create a tee that’s fun for the staff to wear to engage patients with. The assumption presenting kids with fun images to help take their minds off what they may be going through.
For this tee, the Client had a very specific, yet open idea:
“Looking for an astronaut figure on the front with a cute dinosaur head in the helmet (space dinosaur astronaut), like floating in space or standing. Back of shirt says SORE Team in a dinosaur/Flintstones/rocky/craggy font.”
With that in mind, just ran with what ended up being the above.
