We’re definitely in a crazy world these days, and without a doubt filled with cabin fever as we’re all holding to the stay-at-home orders for our areas. But it’s no secret small businesses, like full-time freelancers & career artists, are suffering because of this pandemic. And I am definitely among them.
With that in mind, if you’re a fan of the arts and can support career artists like myself, I just wanted to share some retail portals in case they may be of interest to you.
Yellowrant: In an effort to push my art, I opened storefronts on Threadless and Zazzle, both of which have products for sale featuring my art. If you dig what I do, I hope you’ll check them out.
Big Head Productions: I started Big Head Productions as an entity to self-publish my comic book concepts. To go with that I opened a number of storefronts to complement the comic offering. I hope like the merch!
The Button Depot and Other Sundries: I never had any intention of opening a store for handmade goods. But it’s funny, I bought a button maker to make little giveaway items as collateral pieces for my freelance business… but here’s thing, I couldn’t stop pressing buttons, and next thing I knew I had a whole mess of buttons. And with that, The Button Depot was born.
This store not only features geek-centric buttons, but other handmade items as well. I hope you dig it!
Check it out here.
